Edward Martin Agnew, US Army WWII
Edward Agnew was raised by his father, Earl Robert Agnew. Together, they lived with Earl’s parents on a farm near Rich Hill, Missouri. Shortly after Edward turned 18, Earl enlisted in the US Army in November 1942 and served until the following February. With his father home only two months, Edward enlisted to serve as well. Edward served through the remainder of WWII, being discharged in May 1946.
Edward’s service is inscribed in brick next to those of his son and grandson at the Lt. Charles Garrison Veterans Memorial.
